The journey through grief is unique for everyone, but there are the common stages to be aware of:

Denial – Feeling shocked and having difficulty accepting the loss.

Anger – Frustration and sorrow may surface as anger toward yourself or others.

Bargaining – Wishing for a different outcome or replaying scenarios in your mind.

Depression – Facing deep sadness and longing for your furry friend.

Acceptance – Finding a way to remember and celebrate their life while seeking healing.

As your coach, I can help you to understand that it’s okay to experience these stages in any order and as many times as you need. The most important aspects of the coaching sessions are to allow you to create your unique pathway, whereby you are taking action to process everything in a safe space and in your own time.

You will be experiencing a range of thoughts and feelings that you may not have expected, but by taking action and control of your emotional and physical well-being, you will be able to start the transformational healing work you need to integrate your loss into a new chapter of your life.
